Sorting Station MPS-D
Combination of optical and inductive sensors The MPS Station Sorting D deals with topics including sensory material recognition through the combination of different sensor types. The station controls a sorting process depending on the workpiece properties.
Learning Goals
• Introduction to pneumatic controllers
• Commissioning of a diffuse reflection sensor
• Fibre-optic/through-beam sensors, fork light barriers and inductive proximity sensors
• Handling technology and common sorting processes
• Preparation and commissioning of a mechatronic system
Benefits
Distinct modularity for use in the context of diverse project work. Use as a single station and in combination with other stations at different points in the process. Assembled and tested ready for operation. Covers the topics "material detection", "combination of sensors" and "programming a sorting function".
